Data Protection Officer Services

Experience you can trust

  •  An external DPO ensures the organization meets legal and regulatory requirements, advises on privacy strategies, conducts risk assessments, and acts as the contact for data subjects and regulatory authorities. In many organisations a data protection officer is a role required by law.
  • By outsourcing this role, organizations can meet their legal obligations and access specialized expertise without hiring a full-time in-house DPO. Privacy Partnership Data Protection Officers can provide support as permanent or interim team DPOs.
  • When you use our DPO Services you will be supported by qualified,  senior ex-in-house privacy counsel from global organizations and former data protection authority staff who understand regulatory expectations first-hand.

Privacy Partnership DPOs

Why Choose a Privacy Partnership DPO?

Why Choose a Privacy Partnership DPO?

Why Choose a Privacy Partnership DPO?

  • Under Article 37(5) of the GDPR a Data Protection Officer must be 'designated on the basis of professional qualities and expert knowledge of data protection law and practices'.  Our Data Protection Officers have worked as DPOs and Privacy Counsel at some of the world biggest companies and largest international law firms. Many have backgrounds working directly in Data Protection Authorities, such as the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.  While there are many DPO firms to choose from offering to fulfil this role, it is important to understand that  unqualified DPOs and/or DPOs without adequate experience may not meet the GDPR criteria for appointment.

  • Avoid the cost of a full-time hire without compromising on  top-tier expertise.

Why might you need a DPO?

Why Choose a Privacy Partnership DPO?

  •  A Data Protection Officer (DPO) acts as a key advocate for data protection within an organization, fostering a culture of privacy and accountability

  • A Data Protection Officer (DPO) is a mandated role under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR where certain criteria are met.  This requirement is also found in a number of other countries worldwide.  We can review your organization's data processing and  advise you  on when you might need a DPO appointment to comply with the law or whether it might be a good idea to appoint a DPO on a voluntary basis.
